Get Involved — Other Instruments

Unfortunately our large gigs are limited to traditional big band instruments*

That said, at least once per term we put on a Little Big Band Roulette gig. These are more low-key events and open to all instruments in C, Bb, Eb or bass clef.

We also occasionally require soloists on non-traditional instruments for our larger gigs (e.g. beat-boxing tuba for Road Trippin’) as well as tuned/untuned percussionists

We don’t have a strict audition process for non-traditional instrument; all we require is for you to vouch that you are at least grade 6 standard
