Symphonic Swingin’
Big Band Roulette is back for our first gig of 2025, and we're ready to take it old-school...real old-school...like, 18th Century old-school. Join us on the 1st February for a fantastic set of legendary classical pieces reimagined for the modern jazz big band. Featuring an incredible 26-piece jazz ensemble with strings and numerous original arrangements, it's going to be a night you won't want to miss. Jazz Safari
On Saturday, 2nd November Big Band Roulette will be running our first-ever freshers gig, inviting brand-new members to the band to play a killer set of jazz tunes named after animals! Although the theme is certainly a bit silly, the standard of our musicians is top-notch and we have a fantastic selection of songs featuring numerous guests vocalists. We'd be lion if we said you weren't going to have purr-fect time as your jazz elephant-asies come true!

For our first gig of the academic year we will be bringing you the very best of James Bond, showcasing fantastic big band arrangements of your favourite 007 themes, orchestrated for our colossal 20-piece band. Featuring original arrangements, multiple vocalists, and the best student jazz talent Cambridge has to offer, you're going to want to be there! We are thrilled to be joined by Cambridge University's esteemed Musical Theatre Society to bring you an evening of theatrical showstoppers, all arranged for our colossal 26-piece jazz band. From classic broadway hits to jazz re-imaginings of modern favourites, there is something for everyone to tap their feet to. Featuring multiple original arrangements, numerous vocal features and epic instrumental medleys, this will be a truly unforgettable (and unrepeatable!) night of music.
